The 4 O’clock train is a regular occurrence, sometimes annoyance, in my commute to and from the office. If I am positioned at just the right angle on the hill, I can look through the underpass and see if it is occupying the tracks, then plan my route accordingly. Usually, the times I get stuck waiting happen to coincide with the days I’m not equip with my camera. Finally, the cosmos aliened!

What do you think of the new look? I like neat and clean but this may be crossing into sterile. I think I need more color and I still have to remake my banner. The one I have now Justine made for me a while back. Seeing as how it took me over an hour to pick text colors I’m not about to bust open Photoshop and start tinkering around with banners. I just don’t have the energy to do it right now!
I’ve also decided to redesign my website clothing pages. Instead of having all the pictures posted with the items description, I’ve created another page just for the images. This way they can be viewed much larger and show the piece in greater detail. I’ve only gotten as far as my dresses…my website is huge and it is going to take forever!!! If I’m really lucky maybe a customer will buy everything on my site, then I don’t have to remake all those pages!!! Obviously I’m not holding my breath. 🙂
This past week I spent a good amount of time hanging out in the cold retaking pictures of my threads…have I mentioned before how much I HATE being cold!!! I discovered that I had the perfect picture nook hiding right in my backyard! What a difference natural light…or shade in my case makes! I hate that I now have to photograph my creations twice but it really does make a HUGE difference! I use to take pictures outside but over the years, well honestly I just got lazy! It was easier to set up a photo shoot in my studio (when Jason’s not around…he ends up crossing light beams and all kinds of technical crap that I don’t have the patients for!) then to go outside and battle the elements. It seems like the minute I step outside to take pictures a Nor’easter rolls in and gale force winds show up out of nowhere!! I am so not looking forward to modeling outside in the upcoming winter months! Maybe I will finally get a good grasp on photoshop and can just touch up my inside images! Here are some shots of what I’ve done so far, hopefully the *fresh* new look with entice some sales!
